Dr. B. C. Roy Post Graduate Institute of Paediatric sciences, Kolkata is the new name of Dr. B. C. Roy Memorial Hospital for Children, Kolkata (Estd. 1967) after amalgamation with B. C. Roy Polio Clinic and Hospital for Crippled Children, Kolkata in 28^th September, 2010 with an aim to provide specialized care and treatment facilities as new Medical Institution. The founder Principal of this institute is Prof. (Dr.) Mrinal Kanti Chatterjee.

This institute is under the Department of Health and Family Welfare and affiliated by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, West Bengal.

It is the only SISHU HOSPITAL located in the heart of the city Kolkata under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. The Phoolbagan Campus (111 Narkeldanga Main Road, Kolkata - 700054) is comprised of 420 beds in 28,577.369 Sq. Mt. of land area comprising of mainly two buildings, Old Building and Annex Building.
